About Synthesizer V Voice Takumi

Synthesizer V voice Takumi (native language: Japanese) is a male tenor voice with a lyrical, classical influence, blending musical theatre tones with elements of light operatic (operetta) techniques. Based on the singing voice of singer-songwriter Takumi Ishida, this voice features a smooth, slightly husky vocal quality, making it an ideal choice for a wide range of genres – from theatre-style performances and rock to mid-tempo songs, melancholic ballads, and dark pop.

Takumi, a name of Japanese origin meaning “artisan,” “master craftsman,” or “skilled,” embodies the pursuit of excellence, precision, and the harmony of skill and spirit. True to its meaning, his voice features a clear, rounded tone with strong vibrato, classically-supported breath control, and a warm, textured character that resonates primarily in the mid-to-low frequency range.

His singing is also marked by tall, open vowels, controlled crescendos, and expressive phrasing, with smooth legato and strong emotional projection. In the higher register, a subtle husky quality adds poignancy, allowing Takumi to naturally adapt to emotive melodic lines.

Synthesizer V works with real vocals, recorded and licensed from real singers, utilizing AI technology to synthesize custom expressions from them.
